Our curriculum is built around a wide variety of activites designed to inspire each child's natural curiosity for learning. At CMP we use a center base learning philosophy with an emphasis on Literacy. A child's preschool years are among the most important years for literacy development. Our literacy curriculum focuses on introducing and enhancing vocabulary, creating an awareness of patterns and sounds in language, developing letter recognition and knowledge of printed material.
Through a framework of developmentally appropriate practices each activity, learning center and day is designed to allow every child the opportunity to learn and grow socially, emotionally, academically and physically.
