In 1983 Dan and Pauline Condrick founded Carmel Mountain Preschool to fill the need for a preschool in the new and growing community of Rancho Peñasquitos. They envisioned a warm, caring, fun atmosphere where children could develop a love for learning. They opened the school with ten classrooms. As the community grew, so did the school and in 1986 an additional ten classrooms were built. The preschool continues to grow, not in physical size, but in the number of CMP graduates who go on to succeed both academically and personally.

Situated on 3 beautiful acres, our school offers plenty of space for your child to explore, learn and grow. You’ll find that our staff, and classrooms work together in providing the best programs to support and enhance each child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
